Nim Asplund

Hi there!
My name is Nim and I'm the person behind this website. I am 17 years old, studying to be a zookeeper and mollusk biologist, and have a burning interest in African giant land snails. A hobby that I share with more and more people as the interest in these fantastic little animals increases.

Learning and caring for my snails, Sidney and Baloo, is my great passion in life, but finding course materials and information about these animals is not easy as they are still relatively unknown. That's why I created this website where I share both my own experiences and facts I obtained from experts' documentation. My hope with the work I put in here is to create a meeting place for snail owners and enthusiasts where you can feel confident that the information gathered is correct. I am careful not to share my own opinions but only stick to the facts.
